Alexander Landorph

Alexander is an analyst at Gemstone Capital since 2020. He has a great understanding of building long-term value for microcap-companies, particularly through building financing strategies and business development for both unlisted and listed clients. Alexander’s greatest strength is his knowledge of what makes a successful IPO and subsequent journey as a public microcap-company. 

Alexander was introduced to Nordic microcaps at a young age and has worked in and around these companies ever since. In 2022, Alexander ghostwrote a book on Nordic microcap-listings. 

Alexander also has extensive M&A experience both from his time spent at Lindahl Law firm, one of the largest corporate law firms in the Nordics, and through his law studies at Lund University, one of the premier law schools in Europe.

Albert Wanstrup

With experience working with equity capital markets, especially in the Nordics, Albert helps provide strategic guidance and conduct various analyses for clients in his position as Junior Analyst at Gemstone Capital.

Before becoming a part of the Gemstone team Albert worked as an Investment Analyst in a boutique investment bank specializing in capital raising in the Nordics. In that role, Albert’s main focus was raising equity capital for clients and providing strategic advisory.

While working with us Albert spends his time at Copenhagen Business School where he is pursuing a MSc. in Applied Economics and Finance.

When Albert is not busy with clients, he will be occupied playing golf, tennis, football – or having a good time in Copenhagen, if the weather allows it.

Sadjad Hassani

Analyst

Sadjad is an Analyst at Gemstone Capital, and his day-to-day activities entail M&A and IPO project execution, conducting market research and preparation of investor material.

Prior to Sadjad joining Gemstone Capital, he worked as a Financial Analyst at PwC and Customer Agent at Nordea. Sadjad is currently finalizing his Maters’s degree in Finance & Accounting (FIR) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, both from Copenhagen Business School.

Besides studies and work Sadjad enjoys to play padel tennis and spending time with friends and family.

Patrick Rennemo-Henriksen

Analyst

Patrick is an Analyst at Gemstone Capital. He has great interest in the disciplines of Economics and Finance and is currently studying Economics at the University of Copenhagen (stud. polit).
Patrick joined the Gemstone team in October 2020 and had previously completed two internships as a Financial Analyst: one for a Danish neurological start-up and one for an Australian management fund. Patrick’s primary roles as an Analyst are conducting market analysis, business development, preparing company material and investor relations.

Besides studying and working, Patrick enjoys playing golf and football. Patrick has lived and studied three years in Sydney, Australia and is currently located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Patrick is an out-going and cooperative individual who thrives while being a part of a tightly-knit team.

Kristoffer Lippert

Associate Director

Kristoffer is an Associate Director with Gemstone Capital, combining years of project management and asset management experience with an ambitious approach to strategy and leadership, to provide best-in-class advisory to clients.
Prior to joining Gemstone, Kristoffer has spent 2,5 years working within asset management, with a pension fund managing DKK 35 billion. His focus was partly on operational excellence and partly on client management. Following this, he has worked in an internal consulting capacity, heading up a small project team focused on supporting C-suite management in uncovering, analyzing, and executing key strategic projects on a global scale.

Kristoffer has worked and/or studied in Australia, Canada, and the USA as he obtained his BSc. in Economics & Business Administration and his MSc. in Strategy, Organization & Leadership from Copenhagen Business School. He lives in Copenhagen and has family in Barcelona.

Stefan Lundgren

Non-executive Partner

Stefan is the Senior Advisor of Gemstone Capital. Being a project manager for about 80 IPOs and an additional 200 fund raisings, Stefan is probably the most experienced project manager for public microcap companies in the Nordics.

In 2003, Stefan cofounded the broker firm Sedermera Fondkommission and in 2009 Stefan was the cofounder of ATS Finans AB, the holding company of the stock exchange AktieTorget and the broker firm Sedermera Fondkommission. In 2014, Stefan moved on from Sedermera Fondkommission and in 2016 he sold his part of ATS Finans AB.

Stefan is often engaged as a lecturer and supervisor in the subject “listing and fund raising for small and medium sized entrepreneur led companies” (SME/Microcap) by investment firms, audit firms, banks, incubators and universities.

Stefan lives in Ängelholm, 30km north of Helsingborg and in Hamburg with his family.

Peter Max

CEO and Partner

“I am the corporate guy on the team. It is my passion to build businesses and I have enjoyed doing transactions and growing teams and tech-companies of all sizes.”

Peter is co-founder and CEO of Gemstone Capital. Peter has done business in 50+ countries, started subsidiaries in most of Europe and worked with transactions from 25mDKK and up to 13bnDKK.

For +20 years he has been working in many different roles: CEO, Chairman, investor, founder, advisor. This includes being a Senior Executive in companies like Microsoft, Apple. At 1CT, the entity that lead to Gemstone Capital, Peter was involved in transactions, etc. from 2009, both as CEO and as board member.

Peter has always focused upon development of technology companies and worked as CEO since 1990 in companies from 50-5.500 people. Peter has a Bachelor in Marketing and Management courses from Insead and Henley MBA institute.

Peter is married and lives outside Copenhagen with his family.

Søren Jonas Bruun

Managing Partner

Søren is the founder and Managing Partner of Gemstone Capital. Søren is passionate about scaling and realizing value in technology companies.

For +20 years he has been dedicated to just that – working in many different roles: CEO, Chairman, Investor, Founder, Advisor, General Partner and Transaction Specialist. He has been involved in more than 50 companies in a dozen countries. At 1CT, the entity that he founded and lead before Gemstone Capital, Søren headed 40 transactions with more than 2bnDKK in combined transaction value. Before that, he was involved in more than 25 transactions as Chairman, Investor, Senior Advisor, etc.

Søren worked in New York and London and is now based outside Copenhagen with his family. He started his career in banking and transformed to become a corporate entrepreneur before he began focusing on investment in, development of and transactions in relation to technology companies.

On his way, Søren graduated with an Executive MBA from Scandinavian International Management Institute (now CBS).
